Prego's coffee is delicious! Their staff is impeccably helpful and the location is great now that the building's renovations are apparently done. I'm all for the coffee, they generally have some low-carb snacks in the counter too. Wife loves the cakes and my daughter enjoys their ice cream.
I only wish it had more sitting space and extended hours. Wife and I will find ourselves craving a nice coffee within walking distance every other weekend, immediately think of Prego, but sometimes it's 6pm already :( . -

Love their croissants and coffee and love the atmosphere . The music is always smooth and this place feels like home. The girls working there are super nice too.

Excellent cafe, reminds me of the cafes in Italy. Pretty good selection of sandwiches and pastries, great place to sit outside, enjoy the beautiful view of Vancouver and/or read for a bit. Staffs are super friendly and they love dogs!

Cute little local deli cafe with everything you can usually crave - coffee, sandwich, baked goods, sweets, pasta, and gelato! Very neighborhoody vibe.

I am here quite often because friends living near Prego like it. I have been disappointed by the Americanos and recently had a nearly undrinkable soy cappuccino which was at once bitter and watery. For the price it should be better coffee. I know soy milk is challenging and real milk is much better but soy in coffee can be quite good. This small space clearly has a place in the neighbourhood and, unusually for Vancouver, some customers see it as an extension of their livingroom. Some people come for dessert and sit outside or start their day there, as is done in Italy. There is pre-cooked pasta, gelato, sandwiches on croissants or bread, pastry and other breakfast items, fresh fruit (which I really appreciate) and an array of sweets. I see they also have a juice press for orange juice, which is nice. Last week it was a warm day and I asked for iced tea but the barrista told me that a) they have ice and b) they have tea but they will not ice tea. Only coffee. I asked if the coffee was pre-cooled and was told it was not. Serving tea only hot is nonsensical if you serve iced coffee.
